Playa Del Carmen, Mexico

Playa Del Carmen, Mexico

Let's go south to Mexico
Where the nights are long
And time moves slow
Just take my hand
We'll go with the flow
Down south in Mexico

Down here everything is mañana
baking like an iguana
just turn left at Tijuana.
Everything is better
with Chili and Lime.
Dont worry about the weather
'cause we both got time.

So let's go south to Mexico
Where the nights are long
And time moves slow
Just take my hand
We'll go with the flow
Down south in Mexico

My Perspective

Who would’ve knew that below the imaginary line

Underneath the “honorable” wall

Behind the patronized boarder

Lies a land of beauty

A land of people

A land of culture

Have we been so eager to get a way

That we’ve let this beauty gone unnoticed?

The Trip

Imagine being barefoot in Mexico during a thunder storm, riding in a four seater Jeep and you’re the fifth person to get in… Quite a situation, wouldn’t you say? Just minutes before seeing a humongous tarantula; as I got in the jeep I thought to myself “why the hell didn’t I wear shoes?” We were getting ready to finish our last zip line when an unexpected thunder storm started. Which caused the zip line to shut down until the storm passed. However, we were so far from the main facility that the company had to send us Jeeps to get back.. which landed me in this peculiar situation.

Visiting Playa Del Carmen, Mexico was an amazing experience. The city was covered with high trees and beautiful wild life (minus the mosquitoes). It felt like every day there was something new to see! The city also offers a huge amount of activities and tours to participate in! Click the link below and check out a glimpse of my trip.
